Soon, parents and grandparents will go shopping for school supplies. While it can be a stressful time for some, it is also accompanied by excitement for the new school year ahead of the children. However, for some Romanian children, there isn’t much excitement around this time of year. Their families either don’t have a budget for school supplies or it is very limited.

As part of the vision of Charis Foundation Romania, we want to show Christ to the community in a practical way. And one practical way in which we can help the community is by supporting the education of children.

Through the ‘Back to School’ project we aim at providing school supplies (backpacks, notebooks, crayons, pencil cases, paint etc.) to the children who will attend school this Fall. $50 (€45/£38) will cover the cost for these supplies for one child.

If you feel led by the Lord, please consider supporting a child (or more) or contributing with any sum of money towards this project. Please mention ‘Back to School’ when you send your donation.

If you cannot support us financially, please lift us in prayer as we seek to minister to these children.
