Our mission is to show Christ to people in a practical way, by fulfilling their urgent needs, by being with them in suffering, and by lending a hand to those without hope. Our priority are the people and, most specifically nowadays, are our neighbors from Ukraine, especially those who are seeking refuge from the war.

We are prepared to receive refugees in our Guest House in Charis Center. We are waiting any minute now to receive information from our friends and collaborators who are in contact with those in Ukraine who need help.

We are making every effort possible to prepare 25 spots for refugees. But we do have a big need in order to do that. Because our rooms are heated by electrical heaters, we urgently need 8 heaters. As new needs arise, we will be communicating them. Mother Teresa said: I can do things you cannot. You can do things I cannot. Together we can do great things!

Don’t forget, not even a glass of water goes unnoticed. And who knows if one day any of us may be in a situation similar to those in Ukraine.
