Sometimes life feels like a lonely road. Yet even when the steps seem solitary, God is present. This is Daniel’s story—a story of faith, hope, and love.
Daniel spent the first 17 years of his life in an orphanage—years without a father’s embrace or a mother’s gentle touch. And yet, God never forgot him. In 2004, He brought Daniel into the CHARIS Foundation, which became his family. There, he discovered love, care, and faith. He learned what it means to be loved, supported, and lifted up when you fall. This September, God wrote a new chapter in Daniel’s life: He gave him a wife, Alexandra—a soul to walk beside him, to lift him when he is weary, and to be his support through all the days of his life.
Today, Daniel and Alexandra are not just two people in love. They are two disciples united in a holy covenant. They are never alone, because God is always between them and with them. “A cord of three strands is not easily broken”—and their story is living proof of this truth.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up…” (Ecclesiastes 4:9–10). We rejoice to see how God continues to write this beautiful story. And we believe that what He has begun, He will bring to completion!
